Dear Littleton High School Community,

I know all of you are staying informed about school budgetary developments during this spring legislative session. As the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education continues to discuss cuts to staffing and programs, the Denver-area media has reported on meetings and workshops.

Last Friday the Denver Post ran an article about budget cuts in Littleton Public Schools. The article stated that “the International Baccalaureate programs at two district schools no longer can be financially supported by the district.” The story did not name the two schools affected by this decision. Therefore, it is important to note that the LITTLETON HIGH SCHOOL IB program will NOT be affected by the budgetary shortfalls. Our IB program will continue to operate at the high level you have come to expect!

I hope this clarifies any confusion that was created by recent media reports. We look forward to continuing the great work we are able to do with you and your children. Thank you for your ongoing support of the IB program at Littleton High School!
